This is our light bridge. It's a whole series of fluorescent lights - and in this particular moment, not all of them are illuminated. This was shot from below and the bridge was in at head height.

A long day spent at work in the theatre, means a hastily snapped but nice photo of the theatre's seats on the way backstage from a production meeting.

We've moved into our theatre space and it used to be a vaudeville house - the detail and decoration of the house portion of the theatre is just gorgeously ornate.

This was our lovely home to rehearsals. We had a great room, and a very supportive staff. I'll miss being 5 minutes away from rehearsal. And we had two delis right across the street and another good cafe just a block away. What an embarrassment of riches.

We didn't get close to an inch the day of Snowpocalypse, part 2 where we were supposed to get as much as 8". The day we were supposed to get not even an inch, generated at least 2". Go figure.

Spike sticks. In this case, they're dulled pencils with spike tape wrapped around it for my and my colleague. It helps us to quickly spike (mark) where a piece of furniture or prop goes on the stage. Usually we have a stagehands to help us, but these spike sticks are ready for the quick fix.

Our stage is dark and we're trying to not have landing strips with the marks on the floor, so dark colors it is.

I'm lucky... in St Louis, a lot of our cultural institutions (museums, and such) are free or very low cost. It always amazes me the staggering cost of admission in other cities.

Thanks to a gift membership to the St Louis Zoo, my reciprocal agreement allowed me and KS free admission into the Museum of Science. Its definitely an expansive museum and we didn't see it all, or the Harry Potter exhibit, but for free, it was worth it.

Caffiene is a staple and necessity in this business... and since I don't drink coffee, and I sometimes forget to take the time to brew tea... Diet Coke it is...

Thank goodness for Diet Coke this week... and particularly on this day.

I'm pretty sure it was Day 273 that things went a little pear shaped but I think things will be alright. My colleague/roommate bought me great popcorn from Whole Foods to comfort me.

This is seriously the best kettle corn I've ever had...

There's this church on my way to and from work that has been since un-blessed and turned into condos. But they retained the beautiful front window and light it up at night. I finally remembered to take the picture!

This should've been a picture of Snowpocalypse, Part 2. Instead, no blizzard, no 8-12" of snow... we barely got an inch. DENIED!

I'm no big cook, nothing in the league of my parents. But I do know how to make a few dishes pretty well. Usually on a job, I like to bring some spices along to cook with. For some reason, in my haste to pack for this trip, I did not. So the other day in the supermarket, I chose a few staple spices that I couldn't live without.

And of course, I consulted my cooking experts: my parents.

What would I do without them?

Yeah, those are definitely gummy bears. The Haribo (German) brand. They are so incredibly yummy and certainly have been a rehearsal staple this past week...

Yeah, you see that right. Cars parked down the centerline of the street. This is a phenomenon that I have seen nowhere else, but apparently it occurs near churches and other places with not a lot of parking but high patronage.

It totally weirds me out. I took this on the walk to the MFA Boston where I spent a lovely afternoon with my friend/colleague, KS.

267/365

I am a big fan of textures and patterns, and since my friend/colleague and I had been talking about them, it seemed only appropriate to take advantage of the patterned fabric on the futon where I was ensconced... watching a Bridezillas marathon. That show is hilarious and only reinforces my dislike for going into the wedding planning industry.

We got new props today, including this tea kettle. I'm still in my reflections phase - so not only am I capturing a new prop, but you can see me and the rehearsal hall as well... sort of.

Our rehearsal hall also has mirrors in it - being a multipurpose room, and these lovely red velvety curtains mask them. I'd been staring at them all day...

(only 100 days left to go!)

Yup... that's a telephone pad. I was a little hard pressed for a creative object but I decided to try a new perspective. That's my theme these days as I approach the final days of my project...

These are Post-Its and Post-It Flags... my constant companion. I have a usual system but on a tech-heavy show like this one, I get to use almost all the colors in the rainbow. Believe it or not, there are actually some missing from this horrifying but lovely collection of office supplies.

We moved into our new place for the next month, and this is our bathroom. My roommate and I are lucky we're short because having the stairs come into the shower like that makes it mighty inconvenient for those of normal size... even I (the taller of the two!) still have to try to not crack my elbows on the diagonal wall.

Sunset in Boston (Charlestown, actually). BW, one of my best friends, came to visit for about 24 hours and we walked the Freedom Trail, ending at the USS Constitution. It would've been even better if the wind hadn't been blowing a chill straight through our bones.

260/365

I've always wanted to take a picture like this... and on Day 260, I got my chance. I had to be a part of an off-site rehearsal at the children's chorus's building and they have this wonderful stairwell. I shot it from above (with my knees knocking) and below and liked the below shot better.

Today's picture happens to do with the fact that I happened to look at my computer's power button in a new way. The way the overhead lights were reflected.

That's the whole point of this project...
