While I was making visits to some very good friends on the East Coast, I was "close" to Shenandoah National Park, one of the national parks that I still needed to visit. Luckily, my best friend is awesome and graciously drove us there in fairly chilly weather and we drove through part of the park. Part of Skyline Drive was closed, but it wasn't clear whether it was closed for weather or otherwise. We only saw 5 white-tail deer, and I got ZERO pictures of them. I did, however, get snaps of some pretty vistas. My G12 has a setting on it called "Super vivid" and it charges up the colors pretty high. I really like the look that it captured - so I kept those and discarded the regular. Just imagine reality a small dial back on intense saturated color. It also points out some of the features that were the reason for taking aforementioned photos. Enjoy!
